Status Updates

Completely ok with the Neal trade. Took too many bad penalties at the worst times. No composure when he needed it.

Pittsburgh @ Ottawa Round 2 Game 3: 05/19/2013

Game Day Thread Pittsburgh Penguins Ottawa Senators Round 2 Game 2 Stanley Cup Playoffs

After defending home ice and taking a 2 game lead in the series, the Pens are heading to Ottawa for game 3 against the Senators. Its likely to be a loud and hostile environment as the crowd rallys behind their team and hopes to cheer them onto a victory to try and get back into this series.

Tonight is a do or die situation for the Sens as dropping this game will put them in position where they would have to win 4 in a row to eliminate the Pens and thats not an easy task with an all star team like the Pens have. The Sens are hoping to get that spark from the return of their star center, Jason Spezza. Spezza has been out since January due to back surgery. He may have some rust to still shake off and this playoff hockey so its going to be physical, expect the Pens to put the pressure on him.

The Pens morning skate showed some changes to the lines. Mark Eaton skated with Douglas Murray so it appears Deryk Engelland will be sitting this one out. Read on for possible lines tonight.
